You don't need to be home. You need the keys out and a flat spot for the trailer.
We bring the trailer and the tools, with our own power and air, so a driveway visit needs very little from you. The few things we do need are below, and most take a couple of minutes the night before.
You don't have to be home. We need access to the vehicle and the keys. Plenty of customers leave them out and carry on with their day, and we text when the work is done.
If your wheels have locking lug nuts, leave the lock key too. It's usually in the glovebox or under the trunk floor.
A missing lock key can stall the whole visit.
We need level ground for the trailer and your vehicle. A normal driveway works, and so does a parking space at home or at work. We avoid steep slopes and soft ground, since the lift raises the whole vehicle to working height.
If your driveway is steep, text us at (519) 755-8113 before the day and we'll work out where to set up. After a snowfall, shovel a patch beside the car.
If we store your tires, skip this one. They come with us on the day.
If you store them yourself, put all four somewhere easy to reach, like just inside the garage door. Check that they match and that they're the set you mean to put on.
Not sure whether they're on rims? Pick "Not sure" when you book and we'll confirm on site before anything is charged. Our on-rim vs. off-rim guide shows the five-second way to tell.
If a tire keeps going soft or the steering shakes at highway speed, tell us when we arrive. We look the tires over at every changeover anyway, and a heads-up tells us where to start.
This one comes after we leave. Wheel nuts can settle in the first stretch of driving, so we recommend a torque check after the first 50 to 100 km.
If you feel a new vibration or sway before then, pull over somewhere safe and call us.
Keys and lock key sorted? Then you're ready for us.

No. The trailer carries its own equipment, so we don't plug in or need your garage.
