Mobile service

What a mobile tire service can actually do in your driveway

With a real lift trailer instead of a floor jack, the honest answer is "almost everything a shop can," and you never leave home.

A tire job at a shop costs you half a Saturday: the drive over, the waiting room, the drive back. We do it without you leaving your driveway. Most people think mobile means "limited," a guy who jacks one corner and swaps a flat. With a real lift trailer, it is almost everything a shop can do.

We bring a real lift trailer to your driveway. It raises the whole vehicle to full working height, the same height a shop hoist gives a technician. That one piece of gear is the difference between "we can swap a tire" and "we can properly service your car where it sits." It is rare among mobile operators, and it is the reason we can do the work below in your driveway anywhere in Brantford.

What we can do on site

Because the vehicle comes up to height and stays level and stable, we are not limited to quick fixes. In one driveway visit we can handle:

  • Seasonal tire changeovers, on-rim or off-rim
  • New tire installs, mounting and computer balancing to spec
  • Flat repairs and plug-patch work
  • Torque to your manufacturer's spec, not by feel

Why the lift matters more than you'd think

A floor jack lifts one corner at a time. That is slow, it limits what you can safely do, and it makes a real brake job or a four-wheel changeover awkward at best. Most mobile operators work from the ground for exactly that reason, so their menu stays short.

With the lift, all four wheels come off at once and the car sits at a height where the work is done right. Balancing matters here. An out-of-balance wheel shakes the steering at highway speed and wears the tire unevenly. We balance every wheel on a machine, the same as a shop. We also torque every lug nut to the number in your owner's manual. Over-tight lugs warp rotors. Under-tight lugs are dangerous. "Snug by hand" is neither.

What you need to have ready

Not much. We bring the trailer, the tools, the balancer and the parts. From you we need two things:

  1. A reasonably flat, firm spot to park the trailer and your vehicle. A normal driveway is perfect. We avoid steep slopes and soft ground for safety.
  2. Access to the vehicle and the keys. That is it. You can stay inside the whole time.

No water hookup, no power, no garage needed. We are self-contained.

How a typical visit runs

We arrive inside a two-hour window, or the visit is free. We confirm what you booked and walk through anything we find before we start, so you know the plan and the price before any work begins. We confirm your setup on site before anything is charged. There is no deposit to book, and the workmanship is guaranteed.

We have done this for Brantford drivers since 2016. We are insured and WSIB covered, and we run Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm. The whole point is simple: you get shop-quality tire work without the shop, the waiting room, or the day off work.
